It's an equal thrill for parents to watch their sons and daughters competing for amateur hockey's Holy Grail. Unfortunately, sometimes work and family commitments prohibit friends and family members from being at a host location to cheer in person. For those times, USA Hockey has teamed up with FASTHockey to make every game available through its live streaming coverage of the 2013 Toyota-USA Hockey National Championships. "It's great to have FASTHockey broadcasting USA Hockey's premier youth and girls hockey National Championship event," said Kevin McLaughlin, senior director of Hockey Development. "It gives family members, friends and other hockey fans, who can't be on-site, the opportunity to watch the live action. These video broadcasts are a great compliment to the results, stats and standings coverage provided on T witter and at USAHockey.com." Every game will air live on a pay-per-view basis and will also be available on-demand C shortly after the final buzzer sounds. Game DVDs can also be purchased online. FASTHockey offers discounts to customers who watch multiple games. All the hockey action can be seen on USA Hockey Web TV, which can be found at usahockey.fasthockey.com. Users are required to register prior to gaining access to the games. Fans can also access games at Nationals.USAHockey.com. They said it "People thought he was anti-Canadian. But he wasn't. He was a visionary. He believed in the American player." Already tagged as one of the International Paralympic Committee's Ones to Watch for the 2012-13 winter season, Taylor Chace proved the voters right by being named the IPC's Athlete of the Month for December. The Hampton Falls, N.H., native scored the lone goal in the U.S. Sled Team's 1-0 victory over Canada in the championship game of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge in Calgary. "One goal, that's what made the difference," the 26-year-old defenseman said after netting the championship winner. The only other time USA won gold at the World Sledge Hockey Challenge came in 2009 when Chace scored the overtime winner in a 3-2 gold-medal game victory over the Canadians. The captain of the U.S. squad will look to lead the Americans to their third straight title at the IPC Ice Sledge Hockey A Pool World Championships April 12-20 in Goyang, Korea.
