NASCAR Driver
Donates to the Foundation
D
uring the USA Hockey Sled Cup in late January, NASCAR
driver Joey Logano donated $15,000 to The USA Hockey
Foundation. The
gift will be used by
the U.S. National and
Development sled teams.
Logano is a hockey fan and
former youth player. He has
supported the sled teams
since 2009 when he made
a donation that funded the
construction of the 2010
Paralympic Team's sleds.

skills they need on the ice, the
players, many from inner-cities,
learn important lessons they can
use throughout life. Hard work,
perseverance, self-reliance and
teamwork, all things that help
teams win games, also help
kids become successful in the
classroom and beyond.
The USA Hockey Foundation has
made grants to Hockey Is For
Everyone and other diversitypromoting grants for several
years. These non-profit hockey
organizations, from New York to
Nevada, have received Foundation
Grants that will help them reach
more kids.
