Nearly 5,000 people packed
CMUs McGuirk Arena in
late January to hear Gen.
Colin Powell illustrate what
it takes to be a leader.
The retired four-star Army
general who also served
as U.S. Secretary of State
under George W. Bush was
the keynote speaker for
CMUs Martin Luther King
Jr. Week celebration.
Powell engaged audience
members with stories of
his lifetime experiences,
motivating them to take
charge and make a dierence.
Theres no Superman.
Theres super people like us
who decide what we want
our government to do,
Powell said. Start talking.
