Ronald and Luellen Newmann are
impacting the lives
of students from Northern Michigan
Noel Adams,
Entrepreneurship Major
Ronald and Luellen Newmann understand the value of a quality
education. Luellen earned her M.S.A. in 1992 through CMU's
Off-Campus Programs. Since then, the couple established the
Ronald and Luellen Newmann Award, which supports students
from northern lower Michigan.
"There are so many young people in northern Michigan who do not
seek a good education and do not seek one due to financial
concerns," Luellen says. "We want these young people to know that
a college education is reachable through scholarship assistance."

Without the scholarship, Noel Adams – an entrepreneurship major
from Alpena – says graduation wouldn't have been possible. "I am
extremely appreciative of this gift," she says. "It has helped me fill
that financial gap and makes this journey possible."
There are many ways you can provide a gift to support
scholarships at CMU.
