43 Spring 2026 | Animal Health Solutions How has VetSuite benefitted your practice? Before joining VetSuite, we experienced the usual day-to-day issues most small practices do — like clients going to other outside pharmacies, or not really knowing what to do for their pet's prescriptions. Since we joined VetSuite, it's been so much easier. Because we have Avimark and utilize the online pharmacy, we can put scripts in for clients right away. They can just go on their phone and get it sent to them without any hiccups. No more questions like, "What size milligram did you say?" or "Is it this one or this one?" So that's been a lot smoother. What are some real results you're seeing with VetSuite? Working in a veterinary clinic, between the number of patients we see every day and the number of requests we get from clients, there's not much time to spare. VetSuite delivers real results by simplifying the back-and-forth. It saves us a lot of time…time that we can put back into care. VetSuite makes my job as practice manager easier, too. Before VetSuite, ordering things for the hospital was so time-consuming. I had to figure out where to go, look all over to see who had this item and who didn't. With VetSuite, I only have to look one place to get compounding medication, supplies for our clinic, and anything else I'm looking for. Just knowing I can get everything through Covetrus has been really awesome. What does being part of the VetSuite network mean to you? Being part of the Vetsuite network has been really valuable. Benchmark reports help me see trends in the hospital — like how many clients we're bringing in, how that compares to last year — so I can make adjustments where needed. Plus, seeing what other clinics are doing compared to ours helps me understand where we're lacking, where we're succeeding, and what we need to do in-clinic to help reach our goals. What does VetSuite mean for independent practices? I think VetSuite is a huge advantage for independent practices. It really allows us, as a smaller one-doctor practice, to understand what we need to do to succeed — even without the advantages that corporate practices may have. VetSuite can help bring all the tools that you need together in one spot and ultimately help your clients, help your staff, help you as a manager. It's something that can benefit your whole practice. M anaging a diverse caseload including everything from cats and dogs to reptiles and exotics is no small feat.
