The Legacy Society The Legacy Society recognized donors who have chosen to benefit the University through planned giving. Planned gifts include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, charitable gift annuities, gifts of property subject to life estate, gifts of life insurance or gifts of retirement plan assets. Such planned gift arrangements may result in far more significant gifts for CMU than may be possible during the donor's lifetime. Terri Anthony '78 Charles R. I'm not from Mount Pleasant, but I am a 1997 graduate from Central Michigan University's College of Business Administration. In many ways, I feel CMU truly is my home. Mark Baczewski After graduating from CMU, I began a trek in sports marketing as well as sales and marketing roles before discovering a passion for higher education. I spent time at Albion College before moving to the East Lansing area where I was a development officer for Michigan State University's College of Communication Arts and Sciences. I feel very fortunate to be a part of a great college in CCFA. While I do still consider myself new, I have already been on board eight months. In my short time here, I have had the opportunity to engage in a variety of CCFA & CMU campus events, such as: • Opus • Grandparents U • Clash at Comerica Park • Colin Powell speech • CCFA Day • Alumni Band Reunion • Scholarship Luncheon • Summer Theatre performance • Women's basketball game As you can see, there are many ways to engage with CMU and CCFA. I encourage you to come back to campus and see an art exhibit, theatre/dance performance, concert, broadcast or speaker series. I would like to help you engage in a variety of activities on and off campus. For assistance in doing so, please feel free to contact me at 989-774-1698 or bacze1mc@cmich.edu. Fire up, Chips! Mark Baczewski, director of development College of Communication and Fine Arts
