Updates Highlight Reel All you need to know about the HRO Today Forums.   Who says Summer is quiet in Europe? This is certainly not the case on the run up to the final HRO Today Forum of 2013 to be held November 12-14th in London. Practitioner registrations are already rolling in (remember as a HRO Today Global reader you get a discount on attendance—£599 for the entire Forum or £299 for individual days—use HROTG13 and click apply code to get the discount from £999), and I am overwhelmed by the number of providers, advisors, and tech firms that are interesting in sponsoring the event. Since the last issue we've also completed the Singapore Forum—stories from some sessions are highlighted in this issue. We celebrated HROA Be Transformed Awards at the North American and APAC Forums. All are featured in this issue, and are great examples of HR and successful sourcing decisions. For our readers and friends located across Asia Pacific don't forget to block the 2014 dates in your diary straight away. Here are some of the highlights for the next quarter but be sure to check the event web pages for all the current updates. 10 YEARS EUROPE HIGHLIGHTS 2003–2013 The full programme can now be viewed on the event webpages and we have some outstanding speakers lined up—here's a selection: • Turning Ambition into Achievement with motivational speaker Jamil Qureshi • Evidence-Based HR with Paul Kearns of IHRM • Gamification with Siddhesh Bhobe, CEO, eMee; CTO, Klisma; Business Head, Persistent • RPO Baker's Dozen—various providers under pressure in our RPO Lightening Round • Building a Social Recruitment Framework with Matt Charney of Talemetry • Sourcing and Supplier Management with Jon Kirby now CEO of Strategic Sourcing Excellence (former CIO AstraZeneca and CPO AstraZeneca, Barclays and Compass Group) • Talent Retention with David Ducheyne, Chief People Office, Securex • And much, much more! • There's still time for submissions for the iTalent competition in Europe.
