Karin Jamieson launched her jewelry line " Karin Jamieson Jewelry" in 2012 with a collection of handpicked gemstones in a range of colors, cuts and shapes set into 18K yellow gold, rose gold or oxidized sterling . Each design and/or setting is inspired by the gem she has chosen. The collection is chock full of statement pieces, particularly the rings and pendants. Jamieson explains, "I do love bold, stand out pieces but I don't like overdone so I try to design my collection with a clean-lined, modern and spare approach to design." The stones dictate the shape of the design as well as the color of the metal. The collection evokes a streamlined, sculptural monochromatic feel. Each piece is a limited edition.
