I
n September, we launched our first-ever Carmel Magazine photo
contest on Facebook. We received hundreds of entries and thousands of votes for images from our local area. Although we
received great entries in all categories, our next contest will use an independent panel of judges as to avoid any type of popularity voting.
The winners of the contest were Staci Giovino in the "Animals" cat-
egory, Juliet Sanders for "Events," Dawn May for "People," Crystal Clark
for "Recreation" and Linda Perham for "Scenery."
The winning photographers received $400 gift cards courtesy of the
Rio Grill, Tarpy's Roadhouse and Montrio Bistro restaurants, sponsored
by Tony Tollner from Downtown Dining.
