Mary's Gala
The Monterey Chapters of The American Institute of
Wine & Food (AIWF) and Les Dames d'Escoffier
International (LDEI) joined together to honor Mary
Chamberlin at their annual fundraiser at the Beach
and Tennis Club in Pebble Beach. Michel Escoffier,
the great-grandson of Auguste Escoffier, the father of
French cuisine, flew in from France to escort Chamberlin. Guests feasted on a five-course dinner prepared
by f ive renowned chefs. The event raised $30,000
for the Mary Chamberlin culinary scholarships.
