school policies admission Except where indicated, students with beginning decorating skills are welcome. To succeed, students will need average strength and manual dexterity, along with a basic understanding of the spoken English language. Students with special needs should contact The Wilton School prior to enrollment in order for The Wilton School to determine if it can make any reasonable accommodations. Class space is limited, so sign up early. Registration fees must be paid at the time of enrollment. Final tuition payment is due 3 weeks prior to the first day of class unless previously paid in full. If full payment is not received within this time, your place in class will not be held. Your seat will be given to someone on the waiting list. The Wilton School has no provision for make-up classes. Students missing classes may be able to make arrangements to attend other regularly scheduled sessions of the same course, subject to The Wilton School's approval and class availability. The Wilton School reserves the right to expel any student, without any obligation to refund tuition or fees, for disrupting classes or impeding other student's work. The Wilton School reserves the right to cancel any class. A minimum of six students must be registered or the class will be canceled. Students are graded on a pass/fail basis. Students will receive a Wilton certificate upon completion of each class of nine hours or longer. The Wilton School does not provide financial aid. The daily class schedule may be modified, but students will have an opportunity to complete all techniques and projects during class. cancellation and refund Applications not accepted by The Wilton School will receive a full refund of all paid registration and tuition fees. Students whose enrollment is terminated or who cancel prior to 5:00 p.m., Central Standard Time (North America), of the last business day before the first day of the class will be refunded all tuition. Registration fees will not be refunded. Students whose enrollment is terminated or who cancel on the first day of a multiple-day class will be refunded tuition on a prorated basis for the portion of the course attended. Registration fees will not be refunded. Method of proration will be to divide the tuition by the number of days of class. Student will be refunded an amount equal to the remaining days. Students whose enrollment is terminated or who cancel on class day of a one-day course will not receive a tuition refund. Registration fees will not be refunded. Refunds are issued within 30 calendar days from the date of termination of enrollment or 30 days from the receipt of The Wilton School's written notice of cancellation or termination. The Wilton School has a formal grievance procedure, a copy of which may be obtained from the School Coordinator and is posted on the bulletin board in The Wilton School lunchroom.
