Most guys will run straight pipes instead of mufflers, but the problem is the pitch is 100x worse than someone running their nails down a chalkboard. It is ear piercing. Straight pipes will also lose a little hp due to the lack of back pressure, which is why we are running dual magnaflow mufflers which are lightweight and a straight through design, while still being muffled.
