Since 1876 For 138 years, The Boys' Club of New York (BCNY) has welcomed boys and young men from all corners of New York City. While the world has changed immeasurably since 1876, our open-door policy has not: any boy is wel- come to join the Boys' Club, no matter his circumstances or where he lives. In 2013, we had 3,432 members, and attendance aver- aged 575 members daily. Among our members, 42% identified as Black/African American, 40% identified as Latino/Hispanic, and 14% identified as Asian. In terms of economic status, 48% have an annual family income of less than $25,000, and 78% have an an- nual family income of less than $50,000. These figures indicate that we are reaching families with the greatest need of our services. This year, BCNY opened its doors for the first time in decades on Saturdays, and we expanded and enhanced our programs across all areas. We are thrilled to share our accomplishments with you, and hope you will join us as we applaud our members, our donors, and our staff.
