The Macan will be produced
in Leipzig along Porsche
Cayennes and Panameras. A very
unique signature feature for the
Macan are quad LED headlights.
Familial lineage of the Cayenne
is very evident in the interior
and the exterior so much so that
one could easily mistake for a
mini Cayenne. In fact, Porsche
had them at opposite ends of
their display stand and I initially
thought I was walking up on a
Cayenne when it was actually
the Macan.
Porsche had assembled a
two story display booth and
stage. At the bottom right, in a
private room, was the new 918
in white. It's a stunning car.
The journalists who worked
their way in there and I were all
pushing ourselves up against the
corners of the room in attempt
to get a good shot of it. This is
the second 918 I've seen after
spotting a well used 918 test
mule at Pebble Beach Concours.
It is absolutely stunning. Hope to
catch a ride in one some day.
