Michigan is emerging from
what some have called its "lost
decade," a period in which it
nearly lost its signature auto
industry and hundreds of
thousands of jobs in the most
prolonged economic recession
since the Great Depression.
Today the state is bouncing
back with a revitalized auto
industry and a renewed
entrepreneurial spirit that is
reshaping older companies
and creating new ones.
