May / June 2014 34 are tough and they will survive! As the course is getting set up you will get paired up with an instructor that will guide you through the event. Once the course is set up everyone gets an opportunity to walk the course. This is a great time to make notes and learn what the cones mean. After that everyone gets in their cars and as a group you are guided through the course. Don't try to focus too much on the car in front of you but on the course because when you do your first run that car won't be there anymore! After the required drivers meeting it is time to collect your thoughts and line up. When it is your turn to go through the course remember to always keep your head up and looking forward. Your first round will not be your quickest and that is ok, you are still learning the course. The first time off the starting line I completely missed the first gate because I was so excited and nervous but by the end of the day I could make it through the entire course with confidence. Each session your times will improve and you will look like a rock star! At the end of the event there will be a short meeting to discuss your times for each session.
