DAVID ROCKWELL BY CALIBER
GRILL DEBUTS AT ARCHITECTURAL
DIGEST HOME DESIGN SHOW
Grill combines best of craftsmanship, hospitality
design and engineering
Rockwell Group and Caliber Range Corporation have
partnered to create a luxury outdoor gas grill for the home. David
Rockwell by Caliber is an innovative grill that celebrates the social
nature of cooking and dining. Debuted at the Architectural Digest
Home Design Show in New York, the grill is now available.
David Rockwell by Caliber merges the architecture firm's
interest in designing environments that encourage people to
connect with Caliber Range's commitment to producing high
quality, handcrafted American-made grills. The modern design
and next-generation engineering make the David Rockwell by
Caliber a signature home design piece and a professional-grade
grilling system for home entertaining.
Inspired by areas where people traditionally gather, including
hearths, campfires and other communal dining settings, the 60"
long x 30" wide by 36" tall grill is designed to evoke the look of a
fluid tablecloth draped over a ceremonial table. It features a
stainless steel lid that sits on a commercial grade powder-coated
aluminum canopy that has been finely polished and hand welded
with rounded corners. The lid glides easily to disappear into the
canopy, creating a true 360 degree grill that brings together
friends and family around the grill and to cook and socialize.
The canopy sits atop a handcrafted Brazilian cherry wood
table, and wraps around Caliber Range's patented high-
performance grilling system. Oversized knobs influenced by
the shape and tactile qualities of a hockey puck control the
temperature. The gas canister sits snugly on a shelf under the
grill and slides out for easy refueling. David Rockwell by Caliber
is available in four colors: red, terracotta, turquoise and
midnight black.
"We believe that the grill should serve as the focal point for any
outdoor dining event," said David Rockwell, founder and President
of Rockwell Group. "Our design allows everyone to gather around
all four sides and see the food being prepared. Cooking can now
