Conference USA is in its 16th year, and from the beginning, dedication to excellence has been the league’s guiding principle and remains today a common thread for a promising future. C-USA is home to nine nationally prominent, tradition-rich baseball members in East Carolina, Houston, Marshall, Memphis, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, UAB, and UCF. In 2010, C-USA was the No. 5 ranked baseball conference, trailing only the SEC, ACC, Big 12 and Pac-10. Eight of the nine C-USA teams won at least one game against a nationally- ranked, non-conference opponent last season. C-USA teams posted a total of 17 wins in 2010 over nationally- ranked, non-conference opponents during the regular season, including three against top three foes.
