By Debbie Bolla As organizations continue to expand globally, their HR departments face a stronger need to screen international employees. Right now, only 15 percent of respondents perform background screening on individuals with multi-national residence, education, and/or employment history, according to HireRight's 2014 Employment Screening Benchmarking Report. Larger organizations tend to do more: That number more than doubles to 33 percent for organizations with 4,000 or more employees. While global screening appears to be in its infancy, it's likely to grow, as more and more companies experience its benefits. What can organizations gain from a global screening program?
