The 35 largest United States-based multinational companies
are adding jobs overseas at more than twice the rate as
they are domestically, according to the
Wall Street Journal.
Fortunately, emerging markets are ripe with talented,
educated workers—a recent
Fortune magazine article cited
India's booming IT sector, which has no shortage of talented
engineers.
Despite that good news, when it comes to finding
managers for work in emerging markets, companies
are feeling the crunch. For example, 67 percent of
multinational organizations operating in India
struggle to build an effective management team,
according to a study from ManpowerGroup.
