2007 lsu eason classic tournament7 Memphis made huge strides when it opened the 2007 season at the Easton Tiger Classic hosted by LSU. The U of M placed second in the tournament, falling to No. 7 LSU in extra innings in the championship game. Freshman Heather Mott hit one of her four home runs in the tournament to tie the game in the sixth inning. Memphis also beat Missouri twice in the tournament, and senior Jenna Kubesch threw her third career no hitter with a 1-0 victory over Middle Tennessee.
