kevin robinsonhead coachfifth seasonCOMPLETE BIO On August 17, 2006, Kevin Robinson took over the University of Memphis’ track and field programs. The move was a significant one for Robinson, as a first-time head coach, and the University, which would be consolidating its men’s and women’s programs under one coach for the first time. The move paid sweeping dividends almost immediately, with the men’s team nabbing the University’s first C-USA track and field championship in May 2007. Since then, Robinson has coached many exceptional athletes to the highest levels of intercollegiate competition. Now in his fifth season with the program, Robinson looks to expound on the more than 200 All-Conference honorees he’s coached throughout the early part of his tenure at the U of M. - 26 -
