2010 review springUNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS | 31 | 2011 TIGER TENNIS EXPERIENCE LEARN MORE Paul Goebel’s sixth season at the helm of the Memphis men’s tennis team ended at 11-12; and for Goebel, it marked the second season in a row the program earned a double-digit win total. 2010 was highlighted by a 14-4 mark posted by No. 1 doubles pair Jordan Smith and David Henry and the tandem was rewarded. The duo was ranked 82nd in the country in the year-end ITA rankings. The spring season came to a close at the C-USA Championships, where the U of M edged out Tulane in a 4-1 decision in the first round of play, before Tulsa ended the Tigers’ run in the second round.
