Since the league’s inception in 1995, Conference USA has risen the ranks quickly to become one of the top conferences in the nation. Boasting a dedication to excellence and community, C-USA has produced more than one million alumni across the nation who represented the conference athletically and continued to do so after the end of their playing days.
Conference USA has considerable pull in the NCAA governing structure, along with traditionally-powerful conferences like the Big 12, Pac-10 and SEC. The presidents of the member institutions serve as the league’s board of directors.
Entering its third decade of existence, the league has established a strong foundation, identity and history that reflects its national presence. Fifteen years of athletic tradition has reinforced the league’s position in college athletics and will continue to do so.
