Hermann Trophy Award < Memphis senior forward Ashley Berra and senior midfielder Vendula Strnadova were named to the 45-player watch list for the 2010 Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) Hermann Trophy as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA). Considered the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer, the recipients of the MAC’s Hermann Trophy are selected by Division I head coaches who are current members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Berra, who was also named C-USA Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and was a preseason All-C-USA selection, rang up 15 goals and eight assists in 2009, ranking first in the conference in both goals and points. She collected NSCAA All-American honors, C-USA Offensive Player of the Year and first team All-C-USA honors in 2009. Strnadova, who joins Berra on the preseason All-C-USA team, had five goals and four assists in 23 matches last season.
