Condition Monitoring Pod now available 1", 0.75" and 0.50" npt size Built-in oil sampling port Access point for quick syringe sampling and hand-held instrument tests Corrosion Indicator detects abnormal corrosion and varnish conditions Cross-hairs for observing oil level Easy-to-remove and view magnetic plug 3-D sight glass enables quick inspection for water emulsions, foam, sediment and bubbly oil Nut allows for easy sight glass rotation (to inspect magnetic rod) or removal (for cleaning) NEXT GENERATION MACHINE INSPECTION AND FAULT DETECTION For Use On • Gearboxes • Sumps • Reservoirs • Low Pressure Systems ™ Early Fault Detection Early detection of machine faults and abnormal wear is key machine reliability. The failure development period begins with "P", the point of first detection, and ends with "F", the state of operational failure. The longer the PF interval the greater the likelihood a failure can be detected before expensive collateral damage and unscheduled downtime occurs. The CMP enables daily inspections across nu- merous critical parameters. This capability delivers a huge benefit over less frequent oil sampling and other condition monitoring ac- tivities (vibe, thermography, acoustics, etc.). Comprehensive Inspection Most sight glass level gauges are used only to confirm oil volume. Many root causes and symptoms of machine failure are missed due to the limited ability of these sight glasses. The CMP is a multi-pa- rameter inspection pod that greatly modernizes and expands daily one-minute inspections.
