Alex Hoffman was sidelined by a knee injury early in the fall of 2010, forcing him to take a medical redshirt for the 2010-11 campaign. He will return in full force as an integral part of the team during 2011-12. Hoffman ranked 42nd nationally in the class of 2010 by Golfweek Magazine. He was a four-year letterwinner for coach Jason Avd at Middletown High School. Hoffman was a two-year all-state selection, a four-year all-area pick and four-year all-region honoree during his time with the Knights.
