Powder and Bulk Engineering, 2015-2016 Corporate Capabilities 25 Corporate Description Wm. W. Meyer & Sons, Inc. is dedicated to delivering the highest level of quality equipment and engineering products to the air process/bulk material handling industries. With over 70 years to draw on in providing world leading engineered solutions of system components for dust collection, pneumatic conveying and mechanical feeding for 16 industries, Wm. W. Meyer & Sons manufactures the definition of ROBUST. A rigorous sales, engineering and manufacturing process enables our Rotary Airlocks, Double-Flapgate Valves, Gravity Diverters, Slide Gates and Pneumatic Screw Pumps to handle your toughest application. Whether it's standard or custom products you require, we're accomplished in solutions for the 21st Century that maximize production and minimize downtime. Rotary Airlock Feeders/Valves Rotary Airlock Feeders are used in a wide array of applications and industries wherever dry free-flowing materials are used. Meyer valves are available in cast iron, stainless steel, and other materials of construction, in sizes from 6"X6" through 36"X36". In addition, we offer various types of options designed to meet the challenges of corrosion, abrasion, product degradation, high pressure differentials and extreme temperatures. Meyer Pneumatic Screw Pump The Pneumatic Screw Pump meters dry pulverized material into a pneumatic conveying line. Unlike rotary valves that require tight clearances to seal against conveying air, it uses the material to form the seal. Designed to convey highly abrasive, friable and very fine particulates that wear out other dilute phase type airlock/feeders. An integrated gate prevents blowback and the pump will handle moderately high temperature conditions. Meyer Double Flapgates Meyer Double Flapgate Valves offer the perfect solution alternative to rotary airlock feeders. The Meyer cast alloy flap gate design is available in single, double or triple configurations. The standard flap and seat material offers high wear resistance for abrasive materials like ash, cement, mined ores and bulk powder/chemicals. Pressure differentials 30" HG + 15 PSI. High temperature 1800°F design options. Large capacity throughput for severe duty applications with low maintenance gives you the right component solution.
