34 Powder and Bulk Engineering, 2015-2016 Corporate Capabilities Corporate Description Since 1834 Stedman's complete line of size reduction equipment has provided access to the best equipment for the process, instead of modifying the process to fit the equipment. Support services include custom design, project planning, full-scale testing, toll processing and 24-hour parts & service. Markets Served From crushing highway aggregate to fine grinding powders for cosmetics, Stedman reduces it all: • Aggregates • Brick, clay & ceramics • Industrial applications • Coal, energy & biomass • Minerals & mining Facilities Manufacturing campus features a full- size equipment Testing & Toll Processing Facility with over 10,000 test reports on file to compare size reduction methods, particle size distributions, power consumption and wear part estimates. Technologies and Major Products One-N-Done Cage Mills Your process may only need one stage of size reduction. Stedman cage mills reduce materials by impact and are capable of very high-ratio size reduction with no decrease in quality of the product, even after long periods of operation. Go-Screenless Impactors Early size reduction methods used hammers to pound material through specific size screens to produce a consistent product, but for many applications screens create maintenance and wear issues. Stedman's impactor designs use multiple impactor plate curtains to size product without the use of screens or grates. Low-Energy VSIs Size reduction applies energy to a material making it smaller. One of the lowest energy methods is the VSI (Vertical Shaft Impactor). Material is fed to the center of the rotor and moves centrifugally outward to breaker plates without changing direction, conserving energy. Aurora Dual Rotor Crusher Aurora lumpbreakers are designed to produce higher throughput, make smaller particles, and are ideal for pneumatic conveying, material prep and unloading. Available with or without screens, single or dual rotor configurations the options of the Aurora are as diverse as the materials they process.
