RETAILOBSERVER.COM NOVEMBER 2014 32 F agor America, nationally recognized for its critically acclaimed pressure cookers, innovative small electrics and award winning kitchen appliances, is pleased to announce that the productive units of Fagor Electrodomésticos, Fagor America's parent company, have been awarded to the CNA-CATA group, who started commercial activity for Fagor this past September and industrial production in October. This new ownership has already proved to be beneficial for Fagor America as well as Fagor on a global scale. Fagor's worldwide re-launch will open the door for new partnerships and business opportunities. With creative marketing, sales and communi- cation strategies, we will continue supporting our trade partnerships and establish Fagor as a key player within the Appliances Industry. METROPOLITAN KITCHEN COLLECTION Fagor America's major appliance offering has been completely redesigned in the past year with the same European inspired design that helped us win several prestigious awards throughout the years including Interior Design's Best of Year award. Fagor is focusing on a more urban demographic with its new Metropolitan Kitchen Collection, consisting of all 24" appliances. Fagor's 24" appliance offering shows that you can have compact appliance without sacrificing quality or performance. Our 24" offering includes wall ovens, a dual fuel range, gas cooktop, ventilation hood, refrigerator, wine cooler, beverage center and dishwasher. DWELL ON DESIGN FEATURE Fagor's 24" appliances were recently featured in a Dwell magazine article called "Spare Change" in the September "Small Space Big Design" issue. The article featured a growing family in Brooklyn, NY who has downsized their living space. Incorporated into surrounding Ikea cabinetry, Fagor's 24" appliances helped to complete the compact Brooklyn kitchen beautifully. Fagor is currently offering two different Metropolitan Kitchen packages for our 24" appliances. Customers can purchase one of two packages and receive their choice of a $500 rebate or a free 24" wine cooler or 24" beverage center. WORLDWIDE LEADER IN BUILT-IN INDUCTION COOKTOP TECHNOLOGY Fagor has established itself as the leading built-in induction cooktop manufacturer in the world. Originally launched in 2006, Fagor has brought the incredible benefits of this technology to its American market for almost a decade. Induction cooktops have been available in Europe for decades. Both professionals and homeowners value these appliances for their fast and even heating properties, as well as high level of energy efficiency.
