2014
SAN FRANCISCO
O
ne of the most successful and memorable
shows in recent years, PCBC 2014 saw
an increase in attendance, an expanded
exhibit floor, the return of many major manufacturers,
and an overall great sense of energy and momentum
throughout the event.
• ATTENDANCE—PCBC 2014 saw a signifi-
cant increase in both conference attendance
and exhibit floor traffic. Attendance grew by
30 percent, while the exhibit floor increased in
size by 25 percent and saw the return of many
major manufacturers. A total of 9,648 were in
attendance.
• THE EXHIBIT FLOOR—Exhibit space occupied a
larger footprint in 2014—up 25 percent from 2013.
Not only did the space increase, it also sold-out,
and for two days the floor was turned into an
active business exchange for over 350 exhibitors
and nearly 10,000 buyers, reinforcing PCBC's
reputation as the show where the industry gathers
to conduct business.
• THE CONFERENCES—PCBC presents a family
of specialty conferences and events designed
to elevate the industry's dialogue and explore new
perspectives. 2014 conferences were well
attended and alive with ideas, insight and
information on industry topics and trends, as well
as out-of-industry perspective and inspiration.
Both the Land & Capital Conference and
the Multifamily Trends Conference drew record
attendance numbers, and the "SPARKS
Conference" was introduced as the newest
in the PCBC family, focusing on design
trends, consumer insights, marketing and digital
technologies
• THE KEYNOTES—PCBC added a third keynote
session in 2014, with all three sessions featuring
packed ballrooms and ranking highly among
attendees.
