All-Americans
Since 1949, the University of Memphis has had 75 different players selected to All- American lists compiled from various news services, publications and websites as well as from nationally- recognized entities such as the Walter Camp Foundation. Most recently in 2010, true freshman punter Tom Hornsey was named a Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) Freshman All- American. He is the first Tiger to earn this honor in the 10 years the organization has selected the team.
