According to a survey conducted by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), "82% of consumers are concerned about the negative effects emerging contaminants may have on their health." Not only is the system NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53 certified to reduce chlorine taste and odor, and cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia up to 0.5 micron, but the H-300- NXT is also NSF/ANSI 401 certified to further reduce traces of: • Pharmaceuticals: prescription drugs such as antibiotics and birth control pills • Over the counter medications like ibuprofen and naproxen (pain relievers) • Chemical compounds like bisphenol A (BPA) The H-300-NXT is designed with Everpure's exclusive Micro- Pure technology and a unique pleated filter membrane to reduce particles as small as 0.5 micron in size.
