PENTAIR LAUNCHES EVERPURE RESIDENTIAL FILTRATION SYSTEM TO REDUCE EMERGING CONTAMINANTS IN DRINKING WATER Pentair debuted the new H-300-NXT to its Everpure residential line of luxury water filtration products at KBIS in Las Vegas. One of the first products of its kind to achieve NSF /ANSI 401 certification, the H-300-NXT reduces emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications, and chemical compounds like bisphenol A (BPA), that may be found in drinking water. While the health risks associated with emerging contaminants are not yet well understood, the contaminants covered in this new certification have been detected in drinking water supplies at trace levels. "In an effort to provide continued peace of mind to our customers, Pentair is pleased to be one of the first companies to receive this certification," said James Franceschetti, channel marketing manager, Pentair Water Purification. "We pride ourselves on providing quality water you can trust and believe this certification upholds our commitment to customers and their families." The H-300-NXT combines the tested performance of legacy Everpure water filtration products and cutting edge technology to remove emerging contaminants. In addition, its larger filter design provides greater dirt-holding capacity, making it ideal for parts of the country where high silt content in water is a concern. Read more about the NSF/ANSI 401 category certification at www.nsf.org. For more information regarding the product, visit residential.everpure.com/NXT. I N D U S T R Y [ N E W S ] RO
