cheesy augratin potatoes, slow roasted beef brisket and
crispy golden fried chicken. There was more than enough
for everyone. And, it was hard to make sure there was room
for dessert.
After dinner Bob Wayman brought up the outgoing board
members for 2014 and thanked them for their contributions
during his term as president. He then asked Tim Bubniak,
incoming president to come to the podium. Introductions
were not needed as Tim is well known within the club from
already serving in several positions on the KCRPCA board.
What did need to happen was the passing of the "Helmet of
Authority".
With the passing of authority complete, Tim called his
2015 board members to the front of the room, introducing
them: Executive Vice President - Stan Thorne, Treasurer
- Dick Seltzer, Secretary - Jerry Clark, Board Directors -
Spencer Cochran, Christopher Fourie, Kris Loveless and
Ann Stover-Wyatt
One of the highlights of the event each year is the
presentation of the annual Ron Kitchen Checkered Flag
Award. Ron was a longtime Kansas City member who was
dedicated to PCA. Ron was interested in all forms of driving,
