Gagnon started all 18 games for the Tigers and played 1,661 minutes, sitting out only three minutes in the opening game. He scored two goals and recorded an assist. The first goal of Gagnon's career was the game-winner in the Ti- gers' 3-0 win over FIU. His second goal came in the 89th minute of the quarterfinals of the Conference USA Tournament against UCF, when he ran onto a ball played across the box by Jordan Johnson and headed it into the net. The goal sent the game into overtime for the Tigers. Gagnon earned Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors as a defender.
