He was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team by the coaches aſter posting three goals and four assists on the year. Linder scored the first two goals of his collegiate career in the Tigers' win over FIU, 3-0. He also scored the game-winner against Kentucky on a header. Aſter the Tigers' earned a runner-up finish in the Hotels at Grand Prairie Classic, Linder was named to the All-Tour- nament team. In Memphis' 1-0 win at then-No. 18 Bradley, Linder assisted on Mark Sherrod's game-winning shoeless goal. The midfielder also assisted Sherrod's goal against Evansville in the second match of the tournament. Linder played his prep career at Ravenwood High School, where he was a four-year letterman. Linder was named All-State as a junior, as well as district MVP. He was also named to the NSCAA All-Region III South team. 2011 MEMPHIS MEN'S SOCCER YEARBOOK 65
