Tyler Rist sat out the 2011 season aſter sustaining an injury prior to the start of the year. He joined the Tigers following a highly productive prep-campaign. Rist's club team, the Huntsville Futbol Club, won five Alabama state championships. Rist was part of the latest success of the program, as state finalists in 2010. He twice scored 10 or more goals during club season. Rist was captain and senior leader for Bob Jones High School in 2011, under Coach Uwe Spiller. At Bob Jones High School, Rist was the school's Na- tional Honor Society president and a member of Mu Alpha Theta. He is majoring in biomedical engineering while at Memphis.
