Thompson saw four minutes of playing time against Nebraska-Omaha. During his freshman campaign, Thompson saw action in six games. He played in both matches of the UAB "Soccer for a Cure" Clas- sic against North Florida (13 minutes) and Charlotte (six minutes). Thompson also saw action in both matches of the SIU-Edwardsville Tournament, getting in seven minutes of time against both UMKC and SIU-E. He logged a season-high 17 minutes against Alabama A&M. Thompson joined the U of M aſter playing for current-senior Cody McCoy's father, Kyle McCoy, at Knoxville West High School. He was named all-state as a junior and played running back, free safety, kicker and punter for the football team. Thompson's favorite profes- sional soccer team is F.C.
