Cody Uzcategui served as the backup goalkeeper to Conor Hurley this season. Because he did not see any playing time, he will still have four years of eligibility leſt and will receive a redshirt. Uzcategui joined the Tigers aſter competing for the prestigious IMG follow- ing graduation from West Orange High School. He was a member of 2008-09 U-17 US Men's National Team Pool. As a senior at West Orange High School, he served as team captain and earned all-metro first team honors. Uzcatguie played for Keith Fulk and Scottie Dean at IMG, and Scott Fisher at West Orange High.
Uzcategui (pronounced OOZ-cuh-teg-ee) hails from Orlando, Fla. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, golfing and going to the movies in his spare time. Uzcategui plans to major in international business while at Memphis.
