OVERALL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE Among the nine industry sector winners, one was selected as this year's recipient of the Overall Award of Excellence for Corporate Reporting. JUDGING CATEGORY AWARDS Awards of Excellence and Honourable Mentions were given to reports deemed to be the best, regardless of industry sector, in each of the four judging categories previously noted. CROWN CORPORATION AWARDS Awards of Excellence were presented to federal and provincial Crown corporations for financial reporting. OUR THANKS TO JUDGES AND SPONSORS A program of this size could not function or excel without the many hundreds of hours of volunteer judging that is provided by a panel of experts. Our sincere thanks and gratitude go to this year's team of more than 60 professionals representing chartered accountants, financial analysts, investor relations practitioners, and experts in electronic disclosure, sustainable development and corporate governance. This group of volunteers provide the basis for the valuable feedback all entrants receive and use to continuously improve their corporate reporting. Many thanks is also given to our judging coordinator, Bill Buchanan, FCA and the lead judges from our partners at Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, International Institute for Sustainable Development, Toronto CFA Society and Canadian Investor Relations Institute. Our gratitude goes out to our new and returning sponsors for their support: PwC, Ernst & Young, Toronto Stock Exchange, Alpha Group, Listed Magazine and RR Donnelley. We thank these sponsors for their support and for shar- ing our goal of recognizing the importance of integrity and transparency in reporting. We look forward to many more years of show- casing the best reporting models in Canada.
