Cassidy Hawkins was sidelined by injury for much of the 2011 season but did help Memphis to two tournament titles in the preseason. She recorded three kills in three sets in the Memphis Invitational while seeing time as a reserve middle blocker and also tallied nine kills in two matches during the Saluki Invitational.
