The shielded construction aids higher performance by eliminating the effect of alien crosstalk and external interference, making this an ideal solution for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. RapidNet utilizes a bundled cable with six high-performance Category 6A F/UTP cables bound together with a Kevlar binder. The Category 6A cassette is populated with six HellermannTyton Category 6A shielded modular jacks whose die-cast bodies fully enclose the PCB and cable terminations. The new cassette design offers an integral grounding system that connects to springs in the modular panel. The cassette is equipped with a single-lever release mechanism that makes the insertion and release of the cassette easier to use.
