Show in Dallas, but it wasn't just a catchy theme, a rally cry, or even just an event, nor is it a celebration of the downfall of a major national retailer. Prepare for Share is a carefully planned strategy to capture potential market share opportunities that become available across the scope of Nationwide's membership over the next couple of years. "We see the coming year as a prime opportunity to help our independents Prepare for Share. The changing face of today's marketplace is creating a once in a lifetime opportunity to gain share for those willing to lead their companies in new, different, and better ways," says Jeff Knock, Nationwide EVP. "These share opportunities are coming from several different scenarios and they must each be approached in different ways." The group utilized PrimeTime! as a Launch pad, not only for their members, but also for their vendor partners, knowing that the potential for growth for retailers also represents great potential for Nationwide's Vendor Partners as well. At PrimeTime!, Nationwide featured a "Prepare for Share Command Central" booth that was centrally located on the show floor in Dallas. Nationwide staffed the booth, enabling all members to receive a personalized and unique market opportunity analysis for their company and their local market. Additionally, each member was provided an easy to follow road map, outlining strategies, tools and assets to "GO GET" that market share opportunity, both at the PrimeTime! Show, and beyond. Given continuing industry changes, Nationwide is forecasting a very profitable 2015 and looks forward to continuing the Prepare for Share initiative well beyond PrimeTime! The group continues to innovate industry-leading tools and assets, all designed to equip their growing roster of independents to continue to thrive and capture more than their available share.
