May / June 2015 4 Porsche Club of America is an amazing organization! It is a gathering of people from all walks of life and just about any career you can imagine. However, that is not the fascinating aspect of our members but rather how much dedication people bring to the club through donating their time and skills. All of these talented people who truly love PCA and the members within it drive this club. These people have very busy lives and careers and yet they take time away from other obligations and gladly support the club. Without these people there would be no PCA. On the weekend of April 10th and 11th I had the pleasure to attend the PCA Zone 10 Presidents meeting in Des Moines. We spent two days in a hotel conference room discussing various topics; lead by our Zone Rep Kim Fritze and much to our delight we had PCA National President Caren Cooper and PCA National Secretary Cindy Jacisin in attendance for our meeting. For them to travel to Des Moines to be personally involved in the meetings shows a very high level of dedication and sacrifice of personal time to be there and impact our meetings. It was great to get that kind of time with National Officers and all the Presidents within our Zone working to make the club the best possible experience. There is a very solid group of Presidents in Zone 10 and I hope to work with them all to pass good ideas for the betterment of our Region. I thank all those in our club who mentored me and laid a solid path for the Kansas City Region to be the great organization that we know it to be. I want to continue the traditions and maybe develop new traditions as we go forward. As always, I ask for any submissions of ideas that you have for the board to consider for events or activities. I have a favor... Having said all these things I have a favor to ask of you all. When you are out and about and you see a Porsche that you don't recognize please ask them if they are PCA members and let them know how you feel about the club. Growth is an important aspect of any entity and you all know best as to what the PCA experience is all about. Best Regards - Tim PRESIDENT'S COLUMN By Tim Bubniak A Drive To Iowa ZONE 10 MEETING I thank all those in our club who mentored me and laid a solid path for the Kansas City Region to be the great organization that we know it to be.
