PRODUCT NEWS PRODUCT NEWS 16 May- June 2015 | www.machinerylubrication.com VACUUM DEHYDRATOR The new HEV Series of Econo-Vac vacuum dehydrators from Henek Fluid Purity Systems are intended to enhance the rapid removal of water, gases and par- ticles from lubricating oils while maintaining reduced water consumption and improved oil cleanliness. The self-contained systems have functioning fl ow rates from 5 to 30 gallons per minute and large windows to monitor fl uids. Status indicator lights provide an indication of operating status, while high oil level shutdown and loss of fl ow alarms protect the vacuum source and equipment from pump cavitation. Cost-saving features include an air-cooled vapor con- denser and vacuum source design for reducing water consumption. The grease gun, which has a maximum pressure of 10,000 psi, offers two fl ow-rate settings and an LED fl ashlight to illuminate dark areas. The effi cient drive train, with the motor located inside the handle, delivers up to 15 grease cartridges per battery charge. Designed with the operator in mind, the grease gun's shape, balance and weight provide optimal comfort to boost productivity. Unlike conventional mono-grade hydraulic oils, HE oils are designed to hold their viscosity better at high temperatures, reducing energy loss caused by internal leakage in hydraulic pumps and resulting in improved hydraulic system effi ciency. The oils also protect against wear, rust and corrosion to extend equip- ment life. The company's hydraulic oil lineup currently includes 20 specialized products, including Ultra Powerfl ow HE 46/68, Powerfl ow HE and Ecoterra HVI. The standard oil condition parameters that are commonly obtained by laboratory-based analysis are cal- culated from the measured infrared spectra. The sensor is based on a spectral apparatus that is constructed with no moving parts, which makes it virtually maintenance-free. In addition to portable and laboratory models, rugged fi eld installations are available for inline operation. Comline www.comline-elektronik.de 4994-317-5650 3 1 5 8 1 2 G A in in 3 H Th Th 4 O C
