These mixers feature a retractable inlet, a stationary discharge and a rotating drum with proprietary mixing flights that tumble, turn, cut and fold material, imparting minimal energy. Achieves homogeneous blends regardless of disparities in the bulk densities, particle sizes or flow characteristics. Optional spray lines for liquid additions. Capacities from 5 to 600 cu ft (142 liters to 17 cu m). Sanitary Miniature Rotary Batch Mixers These miniature versions of Munson's Rotary Batch Mixer gently blend batches of ingredients in parts as small as one per million with total uniformity in two to three minutes, and can be sanitized rapidly with no tools. A rotating drum with proprietary mixing flights tumbles, turns, cuts and folds material, while directing the batch through a plug gate valve for complete evacuation, allowing rapid cleaning. An optional "swivel feed chute" simplifies manual dumping. It is equally effective in blending batches from 5 to 100 percent of rated capacity ranging from 0.25 to 15 cu ft (7 to 425 liters) or 2 to 1200 lbs (1 to 544 kg).
