In the early morning hours on the first Sunday in May
A gallery of fine sculpture went on display
At the Nelson Atkins Museum near the Reflecting Pool
A still shot of motion was captured for you
The featured visionary artists were Dr. Ferdinand with sons Ferry and Butzi Porsche
Creators of incomparable engineered precision
Their works of art are multidimensional and able to fill the senses to the extreme
39 owners of art were granted permission with pride
For the marvelous machines to line up side by side
All were quite different in color and hue
And came together nicely both old and new
Allowing eager admirers a most dynamic view
As any critic of the arts would do, an overall glance is quickly taken
At closer inspection, differences are seen in the shapes and paint colors chosen.
In appearance, all Porsches are sleek and timeless
You appreciate every detail and quality
Everyone points to features that stand out while whispering comments
"Good Choice", "Yes, I am very pleased" are heard among the crowd.
