July / August 2015 19 in each one. (see picture) Clean these panels up with Back to Black top and bottom and wipe off thoroughly. You will want to clean this up and wax under these panels before reinstalling them. Now clean the windshield wipers frame that is under the hood (you will clean the wipers and window frame once the hood is down). 1c. Now we will move to the doors and top of the car. If you have a cabriolet, you will want to lift your top up just so that it moves a little above the windshield. (see picture) Start by cleaning up the trim around the windshield. There will be a rubber gasket where the top rests on the frame and don't forget to get the rubber seal that is on the top itself. Clean up the window frame under the wipers and the wipers themselves. Remember to cover all the black surfaces and thoroughly wipe off the Back to Black. You will then have to clean the window seals and door seals. Clean the black parts of the mirror including the gaskets. Leaving your window up with the door open clean the rubber right under the window. (see picture) This is a piece that will catch wax deposits, so before putting any back to black on the rubber run a piece of blue masking tape under it. This time you want to put plenty of the Back to Black on this area, especially under the rubber. Using a soft brush gently brush out under this rubber until you can't find any wax residue under them. Before going to the next step clean up the windows with window cleaner to remove the back to black from the windows. The last place on the doors is one that almost everyone misses, the black gasket around the door handle itself. (see picture) Again you will need to put the back to black on heavy and use a soft brush to remove any wax buildup. After you finish, you will want to spray this area with water to remove any back to black off the paint. 1d. If you don't have a cabriolet you can skip this step. While the top is still lifted just a little the back cover will be up at a 45 degree angle, there will be several black trim pieces on this cover. The first one is the trim that will rest just below the top when it is down. Using a soft brush covered in back to black push the brush into the gutter under the black trim and remove all the dirt and wax build up. Next step is to clean the black trim around the bottom of the cover. Don't forget the black plastic panels that are just below the cover. (see picture) While the top cover is open you will want to clean up all the dust below the cover. 1e. Most Porsches have a piece of black trim just in front of the rear fender well.
