a good long straightaway
where they can stretch their
cars' legs. For the most part
everyone seemed happy to
be snaking our way along
the back roads of Missouri.
Our destination was a
scant 30 minute drive for
common motorists. Our
route stretched it into a
glorious hour and a half of
undulating twists and turns,
winding our way to our
ultimate destination, lunch.
I mean The Elms.
No one was split up
during the drive up, but
upon arrival taste buds took
over. Many KCRPCA'ers
went to Wabash BBQ to
break bread and spill sauce
together. The rest of the
group went to The Elms for
table cloths and polished
silverware. Whatever the
choice, fine dining or sticky
BBQ covered fingers,
everyone had their fill.
